Solange Knowles on June 24, 2011 arriving for her 25th birthday celebration at Lavo Nightclub at the Palazzo Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Solange’s braids looked so fun for the event. Her long black braids were gathered up into an off-center ponytail on top of her head so that her long braids hung over her right shoulder. A strand of braids was wound around the base of her ponytail to cover up the hair band. We love this black braided hairstyle on her!

Willow Smith on February 8, 2011 arriving with her family to the “Justin Bieber: Never Say Never” Los Angeles premiere. The 10-year-old singer stepped out on the red carpet wearing her hair in long skinny braids. They were gathered up in a ponytail on top of her head and positioned to the right side of her face. She wore a Chanel hair accessory around the base of her ponytail. She looked adorable wearing an ivory pants suit!

Sal Masekela in October of 2010 arriving for the 7th Annual Night by the Ocean Gala to benefit the Life Rolls on Foundation in Beverly Hills. Known for hosting Daily Ten show on E! Entertainment Television, Sal’s dreadlocks are in perfect form. The center strip from the front is usually always pulled back and the sides straight down. Tracie Thoms in September of 2010 arriving for the 32nd Edition of United Negro College Fund’s an Evening of Stars with a tribute to Chaka Kahn at the Pasadena Convention Center in Pasadena. The front of her hair was braided in many braids and then pulled back. The braids stopped halfway and her hair was long in tight curls. Jaden Smith in June of 2010 arriving for the MTV Movie Awards in Universal City. We love his cornrows that end in long braids. They were placed in really neat rows. We also love his multicolored leather jacket covered in metal studs. He is currently promoting his role in the movie “Karate Kid” with Jackie Chan.

Jill Scott in March of 2010 arriving for the premiere of “Why Did I Get Married Too?” in New York City. We love this braided hairstyle on her. She wore most of her dark hair big and curly but on the right side she had a few small braids. This is a very unique hairstyle and we love it on her!

Ludacris in March of 2006 at IFC’s After Party at the Shutters On The Beach Hotel in Santa Monica. He looked sharp in this light gray pinstriped suit. Her wore a big diamond earring in his left ear. His braids looked awesome too. They were done in neat rows from front to back. His hair is a little bit longer so the braids hung down his neck.

Jada Pinkett Smith in December of 2008 arriving at “The Day the Earth Stood Still” New York movie premiere. She always looks amazing. We’re always eager to see what hairstyle she will debut. For this occasion she chose braids. This is a great African American hair braiding style. She wore the braids back in a bun at the base of her neck. This is a very sophisticated hair braiding style.

Alicia Keys in September of 2008 at the 2008 Toronto International Film Festival for “Golf Rocks” at the Magna Golf Club.  This is such an amazing braided hairstyle. She looks stunning in this unique braid style. The thick braid starts out at the top of her forehead and stretches the length of the top of her head until it’s neatly worked into a long ponytail. The sides are very sleek. What a great hair braiding style.
